Cultural misappropriation is something we strive to avoid at all costs. Taking traditions, knowledge and practices from a culture that is not your own can only diminish the original culture but also reflects poorly on the individual, regardless if it was done with good intentions. Our goal is to honour the roots of the rebozo and respect the custodians of the knowledge and skills that have been passed down through generations, ensuring we can offer something meaningful to doulas and your clients. 

We obtain the rebozos and fajas we sell directly from a family-run business in Oaxaca Mexico. They collaborate with seven artisan groups in the region, allowing them to work independently from their homes or villages to dye the yarn and weave these stunning items. Since 2016, 10% of their profits are fed directly back into the community sponsoring local midwives and community projects to benefit all.
